Waterloo Brewing, the biggest Canadian-owned brewing company in Ontario, today confirmed receipt of its cannabis-infused beverage study permit. The Company is on path to be able to manufacture these very products commercially by 2020.
The cannabis industry has attracted a lot of investor concern and after a thorough assessment of their strategic choices, the company is positioning itself as a significant CIB producer and taking complete benefit of this fresh and evolving category of beverages the Brewery announced.
Waterloo thinks that owing to technological infrastructure problems linked to the production and commercial manufacturing of cannabis-infused drinks, they will be one of the handful of beverage manufacturing facilities generating these products. They have the machinery, the scale, the experience and know-how to be capable of pulling this off.
Waterloo Brewing is the biggest brewery owned by Canadians in Ontario. The Company is a domestic brewer of excellent quality and cost with many award-winning recipes plus it’s formally accredited under the Global Food Safety Standard, one of the largest and most globally acknowledged norms for secure food manufacturing. Waterloo Brewing Ltd. (formerly Brick Brewing Co. Limited) was the first craft brand to have been established in 1984.
